• Jan 20,  · IMO Relics sounds fine on CD as does the Doug Sax Piper. The sound on the Early Singles disc included with the Shine On box is MUCH prefered to the Pink Floyd/ First 3 Singles disc that was included with the limited edition EMI mono Piper CD. That disc is horrible. WAY too bright and no noised. Chris.

• Relics is a good purchase if you are interested in the early Pink Floyd. It contains some album tracks along with singles that the band released. I still prefer the later Floyd sound but they did produce good music also in their early years/5(70).
