• The discography of Enya, an Irish singer-songwriter, consists of nine studio albums, three compilation albums, twenty-one singles and a number of other appearances. Enya achieved a breakthrough in her career in with the album Watermark, the album featured the hit song "Orinoco Flow" which topped the charts in the United Kingdom and reached number 2 in Germany.

• Jan 18,  · Enya plays the synthesizer on the song "An Cár Bog Déil". Touch Travel album by various artists. A cassette which included two instrumental tracks by Enya (credited under her real name Eithne Ní Bhraonáin): "An Ghaoth Ón Ghrian" () and "Miss Clare Remembers" (), a demo version of its namesake on later Watermark.

• 'Portrait’ was first released in its original length of and later re-recorded and released as an extended version. The original legnth version is now availbable digitally for the first time.

• Recorded at BBC Enterprises Studio Woodlands, London and Aigle Studios, Dublin. Do not confuse this original release, titled "Enya" on which track 11 is just called "Portrait" and is in length with the later re-mastered release called "The Celts" with an otherwise identical track list, but on which track 11 is called "Portrait (Out of the Blue)" and is in length.

• Enya was released on CD, audio cassette, and vinyl in March by BBC Records the United Kingdom, two months before the series aired on television. The album was released in the United States by Atlantic Records which categorised it as a new age album and placed an imprint saying so on the disc, [8] which Nicky Ryan later thought was "a cowardly thing to do". [9].

• Enya is not just a person but is in fact “the triumvirate of Enya”: Enya herself composes the songs, Nicky Ryan acts as manager and arranges and produces the music, while his wife, Roma Ryan, handles lyrics. After their overwhelming success with “Orinoco Flow,” the triumvirate has gone on to record seven immensely successful studio albums.
